Boat Transport to Møysalen Møysalen Opplevelser provides fast and reliable boat transport into Lonkanfjorden—the starting point for the hike to Møysalen. We offer daily departures at 08:30 AM. For Experienced Hikers (Transport Only): If you are an experienced hiker familiar with the terrain and do not need a guide, I can drop you off at the base of the mountain and pick you up in the afternoon. The hike to the summit and back takes 8–14 hours. Please note that this is a very strenuous hike; you should be in excellent physical shape and well-prepared. Price: 499 NOK per person (incl. VAT). Capacity: Minimum 2 participants. (Solo travelers must cover the cost of 2 seats if no one else is booked). Meeting Point: Møysalveien 3305, Hennes (at the floating dock). Please arrive 15 minutes before departure. Free parking is available. Weather: Safety is our top priority. Trips may be canceled on short notice due to bad weather. Guided Tours to the Summit: If you prefer to hike with an experienced mountain guide, Møysalen Nasjonalparksenter (MNS) organizes guided summit tours, which include boat transport provided by me. These tours typically run on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 09:00 AM. Price: 1390 NOK per person (includes guide and boat transport). Booking: To book a guided tour, you must contact MNS directly. Terms and Conditions
Booking and Payment: All bookings must be confirmed in advance. Payment should be made before departure, with card payments accepted at the dock. Cancellations and Refunds: Tours may be canceled due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be provided, or the tour can be rescheduled. Customers who cancel their booking less than 12 hours before departure may not be eligible for a refund. Safety and Liability: All participants must adhere to safety instructions provided by the guide. Life jackets and flotation suits are mandatory and will be provided. The tour is not suitable for children under 8 years old, pregnant women, or individuals with severe back problems. Participant Requirements: A minimum of 2 participants is required for the tour to proceed. If only one participant books, they will need to pay for two participants to ensure the tour takes place. Property and Equipment: Any rented equipment, such as SUP boards, must be returned in good condition. A deposit may be required and will be refunded upon return of the intact and clean equipment. Any damage to the equipment or property due to negligence will be the responsibility of the participant. Right to Roam and Environmental Care: Participants are expected to respect nature and follow the "Leave No Trace" principle. All waste must be collected and disposed of properly upon return to the mainland.
