About me

I'm Marius. I run Møysalen Opplevelser from Hennesstrand Brygge in Hennes, Vesterålen — my own dock, my own boat, and the water I know best.

Close to three years fully certified, and around a hundred trips a season. That's roughly three hundred departures on this stretch of coast: Lonkanfjorden, Ingelsfjorden, Raftsundet and Trollfjorden, in every kind of weather Vesterålen produces.

Rooted in Hennes

I also own and run Hennesstrand Brygge — the property the boat leaves from, with three apartments right by the dock. Many guests combine a stay with a trip on the water. If you need somewhere to sleep, just ask.

Beyond my own tours I work as a RIB skipper and guide for other operators in Vesterålen.

It is also why I can tell you honestly when a trip should not go out. The sea here changes fast. I would rather move your booking than take you somewhere I am not comfortable with.

• Norwegian Maritime Authority — approved for commercial passenger transport, up to 12 passengers

The boat

A 23 ft Buster Magnum, 200 hp. Stable, fast, and built for this coast. Maximum 7 guests, approved life jackets for everyone on board.
